Yesterday morning was spent busily packing the last of our household goods into boxes to be ready for the 20' container which was due to arrive at our house at 2pm. The container EVENTUALLY arrived at about 5:30pm and, with the help of some kind friends who came out at very short notice, was loaded by 7pm! So now, while we 'camp out' in an empty house, our worldly goods are making their way slowly to East Africa by sea. On Monday we will follow suit, fortunately not by sea, and by Tuesday evening, God willing, we will be in Dodoma. Lets hope our container gets there too in the end...
Our day to day life as a MAF family. We started out working with MAF in Dodoma, Tanzania. We lived there from November 2009 until January 2014. We then waited in "Limbo Land" in Nairobi, Kenya for around 6 months, whilst waiting to move on to our new posting in South Sudan. This blog mostly relates tales of our time in Tanzania, so I have kept its original title to reflect the majority of the blog content! :-)

One month to go
With just under one month until we leave for Dodoma in Tanzania it seems a good time to set up a blog to keep friends up to date. I hope you enjoy reading about our new life.
