Our 4th and Final Dodoma Christmas

Christmas was busy but fun for us all, as we celebrated this special time of year in Dodoma for the last time.

We were really glad that my brother Ian could make it out here to Tanzania at Christmas- it made it all extra special for us all. It was great to have him here- and I say that not only because he cooked our tasty Christmas breakfast of bacon and French toast (with a bit of help in the kitchen from Andrew) !!

It was nice for us all to have family here, all the way from far off England. We really appreciated Ian's visit.

Over lunch, we celebrated Christmas with a small BBQ, joined by our Australian MAF friends. We barbequed the beef from that gutsy butcher's shop in the previous blog: the meat was very tasty! Perfect with a bit of salad on a hot Christmas afternoon!

We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas too and we wish you all the best for a peaceful and happy 2014!
